Roll-top handlebar / saddle bag

A modern interpretation of a traditional silhouette. I’m not sure what to call it, it started as a saddle bag, but with the built-in stiffener, it is equally suitable to be used as a handlebar bag. If it fits between your bars, that is. I offer two sizes and two types of pockets: choose the small size with mesh pockets if your bars are a standard road width, or opt for a larger size with structured pockets if you’re using gravel-specificâ„¢ bars or planning to carry it on the back. As a saddle bag, it is best supported by a Carradice Bagman.

Small: 28cm wide x 15cm deep x 20cm high = 8.5-12 litres
Large: 32cm wide x 17cm deep x 25cm high = 13-16 litres

(These volumes are estimates for a closed roll-top, and with the extendible flap, you could exceed this.)

It features a floating liner, which means that water that makes it through the outer seams is kept away from the contents of the bag. If you require absolute waterproofness, I can tape the seams of the liner to seal them.

Fabrics

For more info on fabric options read the fabrics page.

If you want a multi-coloured bag you can pick a second fabric here, use the text box below to describe what you want or leave it empty to let me surprise you. Either way I will get back to you with a sketch before starting production.

Side pockets

The structured side pockets use a Fidlock buckle and add about 10cm of width and half a liter per side.

Size
Shoulder strap

The bag comes with a carrying handle on the bag, but for easier off-the-bike carrying you can add D-rings for a shoulder strap. If you don’t have a strap lying around, I can make you one.

Taped seams

The waterproof shell fabrics and floating liner provide a good amount of water resistance, for extra water proofing I can tape the liner seams.
